A wonderful place to love cricket

We aim to provide a fun and inviting atmosphere at our club that will cement a lifelong passion for cricket in our youth players and provide generations of the village community with access to cricket for many years.  The Recreation Ground has been our home since at least 1858 and throughout our long history we have hosted local teams and touring sides from around the country.

The idyllic setting on Mackney Lane, a short walk from the 16th Century Red Lion pub means that we are able to benefit from a very traditional village setting and play friendly cricket throughout the summer, hosting at least a dozen matches at our ground for the Seniors team.

Youth cricket starts with All Stars on Saturday mornings, whilst on Sundays the U11 soft and hardball teams provide ample opportunity for the next stage of development with our U13 team playing midweek games around the county.  Older teenagers are brought into the men's team whilst we provide a steady stream of talent to the Oxfordshire County Cricket Club too.
